Data Sourcing
What data we collect and why
Business records originate exclusively from publicly available business registers and Google Maps listings. They contain only commercial-level data — trading name, public phone number, public business website, physical trading address, and public customer reviews.
We never scrape, harvest, or store private personal information about employees, homeowners, or individual consumers for our prospecting lists.
Information submitted directly through our website — support requests, project briefs, order records — is utilized solely to provide and support the specific services requested.
Consumer Protections
Do-not-contact and opt-out registry
Any business owner or representative can flag their listing as "do not contact", permanently removing it from all active and future prospecting databases.
If you have received an outreach message or found your business on a list and wish to be permanently removed, email hello@webske.co with your business name and we will confirm removal within 48 hours.
Recipients of any outreach have the absolute right to request cessation of communication at any moment, and senders are legally required to honour that promptly.
Advertising Ethics
Marketing compliance & Spam Act standards
We do not execute automated cold mass-email blasts on behalf of clients. Outreach messages are drafted for your approval and sent directly by you, giving you full ownership and oversight of every interaction.
Outreach copy deliberately avoids false promises, fabricated guarantees, or unrealistic timeframes. All generated landing pages strictly adhere to Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
All published websites prominently feature your trading name, registered ABN, and NSW contractor licence credentials in the footer, satisfying statutory trade advertising guidelines.
Infrastructure Security
Data storage, encryption, and access control
Client assets, drafts, and lead databases are housed in secure, access-controlled infrastructure. Internal team members access records exclusively via authenticated, role-based controls.
Draft previews are protected by cryptographically random tokens and shared only with the authorized business owner.
All commercial transactions are handled securely by compliant Australian payment infrastructure; we never store or inspect full credit card details.
Data Lifecycle
Data retention, archiving, and deletion
Prospecting and directory records are maintained only while actively needed for qualification, after which they are systematically reviewed and refreshed.
Upon written request, we will permanently purge your account records, documents, and historical drafts, subject only to statutory Australian tax and payment record retention laws.
Purged records are permanently expunged from primary production datastores with rolling backup expiration.
